Inspiration for "Redeemed"
We all have skeletons in our closets we wish had never happened, even things you tell yourself didn't happen. Denial is a bondsman which keeps us in a dark and lonely place that seems to consume us. It tells us we are worthless, broken and replaceable. Society is quick to throw us to the streets when we mess up and plaster our mistakes all over social media. It seems even saying sorry for our wrongs isn't enough to keep the rumor mill from turning these days. Things weren't that much different in King David's day, really, aside from not having social media. He figured out the key to overcoming his mistakes: He went to the feet of God, exposed his wrong doings and asked for forgiveness, grace and mercy.

There are few things more beautiful than being able to shout for joy knowing you've been fully transparent with our Heavenly Father and received His forgiveness! The beautiful thing is, through Jesus's sacrifice on the cross, every single person has access to the same forgiveness as long as they understand that they have gone against God's standard of living, turn from it and accept the free gift of His Son Christ's blood atonement. What the world sees as trash, God see's as His creation worth redeeming, making clean. He sent His only Son to make that happen. You aren't just a number or someone lost in the sea of people. You are precious to the Most High King! You can be REDEEMED!
