Scripture: Nehemiah 2:18 - I told them how the gracious hand of my God had been on me, and what the king had said to me. They said, “Let’s start rebuilding,” and their hands were strengthened to do this good work.

Ingredients: Beeswax, shea butter, cocoa butter, almond oil, jojoba oil, vitamin
Use: Remove the tin's lid.  Place your palm on the top of the tin and flip the tin over so that the lotion bar comes out onto your hand.  Glide the solid lotion bar over your skin where needed.  Put the solid lotion bar back into the tin and secure the lid.  Repeat as often as needed.

How often do you spend time in prayer? What about fasting? Both are biblical commands that many Christians in the western world overlook but in doing that, they forfeit an incredible ability to be able to hear from God and connect with Him through the Holy Spirit. We wonder why we can't hear the voice of God and why we don't know the direction for our lives.Before this passage in scripture, Nehemiah learned that his home town had been ransacked and the walls torn down. His first response was to go to the Lord in prayer. He first asked for forgiveness for what the people had done to disobey him and then reminded Him of his promises to Moses. Only then did he ask for favor and compassion in the sight of the King Artaxerxes to return home to help his people. As the cup bearer to the king, this was a really scary request to make. Not only did God make a way, but he was able to travel with a note from the king for passage and for supplies to rebuild the city (not a city ruled by the king). This was a miracle that could only happen through prayer and an intimate relationship with God. Because he was a righteous man who prayed, Jerusalem's walls were able to be rebuilt.
