Inspiration for "FREEDOM!"

Every single one of us has events, words or behaviors in our past that we wish we could make go away. Those things eat us up on the inside because we know we did the wrong thing in those situations. In "Christian-ese" that feeling is called "conviction" and those things we've done are called "sin."  They separate us from the people we care about, but most importantly, from God. The cool thing is, if the truth of who Christ is is realized, you have the chance to unpack all of those things and find freedom from the weight of those sins. Jesus died on a Roman cross to take the punishment for all of the things you have done (and will do) that go against God's framework for life. Not because Christ HAD to, but because He wanted to give you FREEDOM from the weight of all of your sins and to make a way for those barriers between you and God to be removed.
